Overview of Kuzu

Kuzu is an embedded property graph database, built with a focus on speed and scalability. It specialises in being able to handle heavy analytical workloads on massive graphs.

It includes all the features you’d expect in order to achieve this, such as disk-based columnar storage, embedded application integration, and lightning fast join algorithms.

On top of all that, Kuzu is open source meaning you have unlimited access to all these features from the get-go.

Vertices and edges can be customized using their labels and property values in a matter of seconds.

Graph view settings can be saved as stylesheets which can then be loaded and applied to any of your other graphs. You can even edit or overwrite the default stylesheet to save time in the future.

Powerful Code Completion Engine

Using G.V()’s query editor will provide you with the benefits of its powerful code completion feature.

You will be offered autocomplete suggestions based on your graph data’s schema, removing the need to memorize or frequently check your graph’s structure. This can be a massive time saver, especially when working with a team who may have varying levels of familiarity with the database.

G.V()’s advanced query editor will also check the syntax of your query to assess its validity against your database, and will highlight any errors. You can even format your code with the click of a button.

Centrally Managed Connections

G.V() works concurrently with a whole host of different graph databases such as Amazon Neptune, Google SpannerGraph, and Neo4j, and guess what, (pretty much) all(?) the features mentioned here apply to them as well.
