About gdotv
Who builds and ships the world’s only graph IDE? These folks do.
The gist:
gdotv – that’s pronounced “gee dot vee” – is the name of both a graph database IDE and the team behind it. Both the product and the team aim to help developers and data engineers do their best work with graph technology.

The team:
Arthur Bigeard
CEO & Founder
Arthur Bigeard discovered and grew a passion for graph databases in previous roles, which he then channeled into the making of gdotv. His mission is to create a universal, plug-and-play graph database client to simplify and accelerate the day-to-day tasks of graph data professionals.
Dr. Seyed Amir Hosseini Beghaeiraveri
Data Scientist
Amir Hosseini holds a PhD in Computer Science from Herriot-Watt University and recently completed his postdoctoral fellowship in Large-Scale Nested Data Processing at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Informatics. He brings several years of experience in graph-based structures and semantic web technologies to the team, with a focus on data processing and validation. As a long-time RDF user, he leads the continuous design and implementation of solutions for RDF/SPARQL users at gdotv.
Dr. Amber Lennox
Developer Relations Engineer
Amber Lennox manages developer relations at gdotv. Her background is in astrophysics, so she’s particularly drawn to the mathematical aspects of graph theory and the scientific applications of graph databases. When not deep-diving into documentation, she can be found wild swimming in questionable weather and working on personal projects like developing software for language learning.
Joe Stainke
Software Developer
Joe Stainke is a software developer at gdotv. As a newcomer to the graph database industry, he brings fresh perspectives on how the team can improve adoption of graph technology for the masses.
The story:
gdotv – originally styled as “G.V()” back in the day – began as a side project when Founder Arthur Bigeard needed better tools to work with JanusGraph and the Apache TinkerPop framework. Immediately after our public beta release, this same need was echoed by both vendors and users in the wider Apache TinkerPop ecosystem, leading to the incorporation of gdotv Ltd. After three years as a profitable, bootstrapped startup, gdotv accepted its first-cheque, pre-seed investment round from Techstart Ventures in December 2025. Today, the gdotv team is hard at work building and improving upon the universal graph technology IDE.
